Workshop Porto DIGITAL 3D HERITAGE. Exploring 3D- Modelling in Education, Documentation and Dissemination 

International Workshop on DIGITAL 3D HERITAGE. Exploring 3D- Modelling in Education, Documentation and Dissemination, Learning, teaching and training activities: COVHER, Porto Meeting, 4 -11 September 2024

The International Workshop on Digital 3D Cultural Heritage 2024 will take place in Porto, Portugal, from September 4 to 11, 2024.

As part of the event, the CoVHer Multiplier Event will be hosted at the Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade do Porto (FAUP), providing a platform for discussions on the role of 3D modeling in education, documentation, and dissemination of cultural heritage.

This workshop will bring together students from partner universities in Barcelona, Bologna, Porto, Warsaw, and Mainz for an intensive week of collaborative work. Participants will develop and present projects that explore digital visualization techniques, contributing to the broader CoVHer research initiative.

The event will also feature guest speakers from leading institutions in the field of digital heritage, offering insights into the latest advancements in 3D reconstruction, interactive applications, and cultural education.

In addition to the presentations, an exhibition of student projects will be held at FAUP, allowing participants and visitors to engage with the innovative work produced during the workshop.
